About
A product engineer, not just a coder
I started writing code to fix problems I could see around me: a shopkeeper losing a day of sales to every power cut, a landlord tracking rent in a paper notebook, a farmer selling blind because nobody tells him the market price.
After more than fifteen years in the craft, those problems have turned into roughly thirty products in production. WiseBled came from one hard constraint: a cash register has to work without internet. So I built an Electron app on a local SQLite database that syncs the moment connectivity returns — then extended the same core to web, mobile and cloud.
That field constraint shapes how I work. Architecture comes first: what is the degradation path, what is the sync strategy, what will infrastructure cost in two years. Code comes second. It is the reason my apps run as well on an entry-level Android phone in Bafoussam as on an iPad in İstanbul. Several are already live beyond Africa: Türkiye, Europe, France and China.
Today my work sits on three pillars: architecting multi-platform systems, integrating AI that is useful rather than decorative, and securing financial flows — because an application that moves money has no room for guesswork.
Architecture first
Offline modes, differential sync, predictable infrastructure cost. I design for scale before writing the first line of code.
Africa and international
Products live in Africa, Türkiye, Europe, France and China. Mobile Money, unstable networks, low-end devices, trilingual interfaces: the constraints stay those of the people using them.
Applied AI
Support chatbots, rental yield analysis, computer vision on microscopy images. Artificial intelligence with a measurable outcome.
Security done properly
Audits, penetration testing, GDPR compliance, KYC/AML flows. Non-negotiable the moment payments and personal data are involved.
