Terms of use

Rules for using the DylaneCodeur site and the general frame of a service contract. The signed quote is the document that binds.

Purpose

These terms govern browsing the site. They also describe, in outline, how a project is agreed. They do not replace a signed quote or contract.

Using the site

The portfolio and service pages are informational. Sending a message is not an order and does not create an account. You agree not to abuse access to the site and not to submit unlawful content.

Service contract

Work starts after a written agreement on scope, schedule and price. Payment follows the milestones in that document, often a deposit and then stages. Until that agreement is signed, messages are only a conversation.

Ownership of deliverables

Unless the contract says otherwise, project-specific deliverables are assigned to you after full payment. Third-party libraries, tools and trademarks stay under their own licences.

Liability

The site is maintained with the care of a professional portfolio. Links to demos or social networks may change. These terms do not limit liability where the law forbids it, including gross fault or a mandatory consumer protection rule.

Applicable law

Mandatory rules of a consumer’s country still apply, in particular in France. Otherwise Cameroonian law applies to the work and the courts of Yaoundé have jurisdiction, without taking from a consumer the court the law reserves for them.
